Grats on beating him and /sigh on the reward ...... for something this time consumeing even ONE reused skin is an insult...
I have seen the artwork and loved the look of this game from day 1. I can not imagine why one artist couldn't have spent the amt of time it takes to compleate this "elite mission" into drawing up some amazing new wepon skins as rewards for it. The amazing artists that helped make our game bad ass to look at couldn't be bothered to draw up some new skins??!! or was the money not there to pay them for there time? .. This is a let down to say the least......

No, im not being sarcastic at all.
The drops in GW are pretty crappy.
Elona's been giving me crappy drops.

The issue here, is that Anet promised us a MISSION. Not a quest.
But the way i look at it....a mission would be WAY WAY too hard, since you cant respawn.

More greens *sigh* a gold weapon with a skin worthy of the challenge would have been more fitting.
One day they will add the Crystalline axe...

You are comparing pixels on a JPG??
You do know that the JPG file format isnt a bitmap, but a collection of vectors... right? And how lossy they are saved varies between programs? Right?

Yes, and if you would have bothered to read the entire discussion on this you would realize that the whole thing has already been discussed about jpegs and such. (No need to beat a dead horse )

Well, a mission would not be way to hard because of no respawn, seeing as you can't respawn in the DoA quests either.
But GG ANet. Making the final boss of the GWN elite mission drop a SPAWNING POWER green? A wand for the primary attribute of a GWF prof?!?!
Standalone chapters my ass!

Wow... it really seems like a complete waste of time.
Personally i don't see what the challenge(sp?) is in using cookie cutter builds (variation... as if) against stupidly overpowered enemies to get the same old crap as before. Theres a reason Urgoz's Longbow was the most valuable of the lot. Now we find out that to do the most challenging part of it we have to spend our time doing the old quests over and over?
Maybe you see it differently. Maybe you just want to be the person to come up with that new cookie cutter build. Maybe your just bored shitless and have nothing else to do.
And i may be wrong but aren't pretty much all the enemies down there recycled skins from chapters past or recycled skins from Nightfall itself or just enemies from chapters past with slightly different skill sets? Anet hardly put there back into this chapter did they. The story is pretty good i won't deny it, but skinwise some of it is extremely half arsed. (Rain/Rock Beetles are laughable )

Seeing as even the harcore and longtime players that were all sticky about GWs gameplay and whatnot got pissed after they heard about what a hit in the face DoA really is (including admins on these very boards) I guess anet is finally starting to nail their coffin instead of laying in it laughing at their community. GOGOGO ANET!!1

I was talking to Shanaeri a few days ago and mentioned that this would probably be the case. It allows players that wish to farm for the Armbrace the ability to pick up an extra four gems continually as they clear the areas.

That didn't stop people completing the explorable areas, all which have no respawn (just like missions, hey!). So I doubt it would be too impossible if it was implemented.
Annnyways, no real opinion on this issue except this is clearly a very high-quality thread indeed.

Offense taken. Besides when someone claims they're the first to beat something and show some less than high quality pictures of greens there's bound to be some suspiscion.
